OK.....I finally saw Twilight! Thank you Cody for taking me out on a date....he's still regretting the movie decision! :) Since I'm sure I'm the last person on earth to see it here is my review!
I absolutly loved it! Of course as with everything else, the book is so much better! I like my own interpretation of the characters and the scenery better than the movies portrayal. I thought Bella was perfect! Just as I imagined! I really hated who they picked for Edward....at first. But I will say by the end of the movie I was so in love with him! I thought Alice was perfect, but Carlisle was nothing like I pictured and Charlie was so different too! Jacob also was nothing like I pictured but I liked him. The movie had some seriously corny parts, but it surprisingly fit perfectly with the book! I mean really, how do you make someones skin sparkle without looking corny! And the whole runny really fast got quite a few eye rolls from Cody. But I was smiling like a little 14 year old through out the entire film and I am dying to see it again already! I guess the plus side to waiting so long to see it is now I don't have to wait too long before it's out on DVD. It is a must buy for me! Let me know what you thought of the movie!

Well to make you feel better Paul and I just saw it ourselves. I didn't love it. I didn't hate it. I thought there could be more dilect in the movie. and insight to what Edward hears everyday.. you know that sort of thing. It was hard to get personal with people who just stare. I thought that was sorta lame. Bella was as irritating as in the books and I thought that was a good cast pic. I too didn't pick, Charlie, Carlisle, I always thought Allison should be blonde. And rose- brunette. And jake and jasper should be hotter. But at the end I seemed to accept them and thought they were alright. Paul liked it, since he didn't read the books.
But then again I refuse to jump on the "I'm in love with Twilight" train. so I might not be the best person to go off of. Good pic.. Book is better. Hopefully they can warm up the characters a bit more in New Moon.. I'll probably wait till that is at the dollar to see it too. Glad you loved it though!
Oh, I loved the movie! The books are much better, but I felt like they portrayed the idea of the movie really well. I will definitely be buying the DVD too. I can hardly wait!
you liked it a lot more than I did. I was ok with it the first time I saw it, and the second I was actually kind of irritated with it. Unfortunately, between the movie not being that great... and that being all I heard about for months... I kind of started to not like any of it anymore. I am twilighted out!!! I guess it doesn't help that I am a HUGE Jacob fan and really didn't like that last book either!
So of course the movie isn't as good as the book - nothing ever is. But I am embarrased to say that I really loved the movie and have now seen it 3 times. I think I get most embarrased about the fact that it's supposed to be a teen movie and book...not a 30-year-old movie and book. Oh well.
Good soundtrack to btw!
you were wrong, i haven't seen it yet.. actually i saw like 10 minutes of it on the plane, and another 10 minutes with no sound on the plane... i was interested, so i'll have to get it sometime.
Looks like I'll have to take your advice and go and see it. No, I haven't seen it yet, OR read the books! Is that bad??? Ha ha!
Tell Cody he's a stud for taking you to see that! I had mixed feelings about the movie. I thought they could've done a better job, but I think they got the general mood right and I felt exactly the same about the casting of Edward and Bella!
I am now questioning Cody's manhood. Though I've always ?'d it a bit.
Ummm...you're not the last person on the planet to have seen it - I still haven't seen it! I know, I know, maybe I'm not a true twilight fan ;)
I *still* haven't seen it!
I liked the movie...of course, yes corny at parts. I don't like it when people pick it apart sooo much, if they've read the books, of course they should realize that it can't live up to them, no one can be as beutiful as she depicts them in the book, but I thought they did pretty good. Some people don't like it cause it wasn't exactly what was in their head while reading it, I say, too bad get over it. :) I just looked at it as, yea my favorite characters brought to life. The one thing that "ruined it" for me, or made me not like it as much as I would have normally, is that Kristen who plays Bella is a FREAK in real life. I saw interviews with her on tv shows before i saw the movie, and man she is pyscho. Also her pot smoking pics...kinda ruined the character. I understand these people are "playing a part", but you can at least smoke your pot in your house, and dress like a lady when you go on tv and don't sit there and talk like your a freak when your trying to promote your own movie. Also Kristen saying she only read the first book-made me think, she doesn't really get her character if she hasn't read all of them. Not a true professional is all I have to say. I wouldn't mind if they got a new chick to play her for the next one. Originally I thought she was great for the part. But not anymore. :) But it was ok, I liked watching it, entertaining, I fell in love with Edward. I loved who played all Edwards family, thought they were perfect. Holy cow this is longgg. Bye.
I loved the movie too! i can't wait for it to come out! I think Jacob is so hot! much cuter then edward!lol I just have to say that all my friends thought the sparkley skin was corny too! they said it looked like sparkly dandriff! lol! they are so funny!
well love ya
