Buddies!

So today Merrilee and I decided to get together and take our kids to the park. Merrilee used to babysit Simon so him and Ryker are pretty good friends. Since I can't convince Merr to move across the street from me we don't get together very often! We got some lunch and visited and the boys ran around and literally touched every tree (we aren't exactly sure what game they were playing).
I made them link arms in the picture above, and than I think they were embarrassed that they did that. How do kids know to be embarrassed so early in life?
After walking around and looking at the animals we stopped for a little drink. I love the team work here! Unfortunatly Simon wasn't strong enough to push the button when Ryker wanted a drink, so Simon got more turns!
We hated pulling them apart since they were having so much fun, but it was nap time (for the moms maybe)! :)
And of course I had to post a pic of the beautiful Miss Kate. Isn't she a doll? She so loved the swing! Look at that grin! Thanks Merr, Kate, and Ryker for a fun afternoon!

So, yesterday was me and Cody's 7 year anniversary! I can't even believe we have been married for 7 years! Some days it feels like it has only been a couple years, and some days it feels like it's been forever (and I don't mean that in a bad way....it just feels like we have always been together). We have both changed so much and find ourselves growing closer and closer together. Just when I think I love him more than I possibly ever could something happens in our lives that make me realize I haven't even begun to see the amount of love I have for him! Thank you Cody for always making me laugh, for sometimes making me cry, and for always making everything everyday better and better! I love you so much and I am so excited to see where the rest of our lives take us! Happy Anniversary!

Viva Seattle

Last week I had to go to Seattle for work. It was actually a pretty cool city and I wouln't mind going there again with Cody! Here is a couple pics from the trip.
These are my traveling companions. I of course was the oldest one there so at times I felt kind of like a babysitter. Not that the "kids" I was with were in need of a babysitter. But I think I get that "motherly instinct" from my mom and feel like I'm responsible for others! They were fun to be with though.

We finally made it to the space needle. It was pretty cool. We didn't actually get to go to the top cause others were starving. But I made sure to get a pic to prove that we went there.
We also made it to the Music Experience Project (or something like that). Luckily for us it was free admission the exact day and time we were there. Normally it's $15. So we got to go around and check out all the music museums and stuff. It would have been a lot more fun if I had had some music fans with me!
It was a fun trip, but as always it's good to be home. I miss Cody and Simon too much to really enjoy travelling! I wish I could take them with me!!!
